Licence
The Connecticut record matters
As of September 2026, if you are in Connecticut during a telehealth visit, the clinician treating you needs a Connecticut licence, with only narrow exceptions.
Some older pages mention a short-term exception for out-of-state mental health workers; it ended on June 30, 2025, and never covered peptide care.
Visit
A live call or reviewed records, not a text or email
As of September 2026, Connecticut telehealth uses live two-way contact or store-and-forward review; text, email, and fax alone do not count.
The clinician must know your medical history and meet the same standard that applies in person.
First contact
Limits and consent come before treatment
As of September 2026, the clinician must explain the method and its limits at the first telehealth visit, then get and record your consent.
They must also ask whether to send the visit record to your regular clinician.
