State check
Connecticut must know the pharmacy

Search the full name under the nonresident pharmacy type in eLicense.

Sterile compounding needs more state approval
As of September 2026, a pharmacy based outside Connecticut that compounds sterile medicines for patients here needs extra state approval before it starts that work.
Sterile medicines are ones that must be free of germs, such as injections.
The state also requires that pharmacy to send Connecticut a recent inspection report showing it meets the national standard for making sterile medicines.
You do not need to find that report. The pharmacy sends it to the state; your part is to check the registration.
Ask the care service
Do not accept “partner pharmacy”
Ask for the pharmacy’s full name and home state. Then check that exact name.
A clinic’s licence does not replace the pharmacy’s licence.
