Clinician
Use the Department of Public Health
As of September 2026, complaints about a Connecticut doctor, physician assistant, nurse, or other licensed clinician go to the state Department of Public Health.
A complaint about a doctor or physician assistant must be notarized, meaning signed in front of a notary.
The department can take action against the clinician’s licence, but it cannot get money back for the person who complains.
Pharmacy
Use Drug Control
As of September 2026, pharmacy and pharmacist complaints go to the Department of Consumer Protection Drug Control Division.
It also handles the form for a prescription error and can pass an out-of-state pharmacy complaint to the right board.
It does not investigate medicine prices.
Ad or scam
Use the state complaint center
As of September 2026, Connecticut’s consumer office takes reports about scams, false claims, and misleading ads.
Information sent to the state may become public and may be shared with the business.
